Gretchen Brown has been a Special Education Teacher at Hoopeston Area High School since 1997. She graduated from Crescent-Iroquois High School before attending Kankakee Community College. After completing her Associates Degree, she transferred to Illinois State University to earn a Bachelors of Science Degree in Special Education. Gretchen then went on to earn her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University. Over the course of 25+ years in education, she has served on many building committees. Gretchen is an amazing individual and leader of our SPED department. She goes above and beyond in everything she does!
